Do I need any prior experience to join your yoga classes?

Not at all! My classes are designed to be accessible and I always strive to offer options and modifications to adapt the practice to your needs. I teach many styles of yoga to accomodate learners across the spectrum of age, ability, and skill level. As long as you are breathing mindfully, you are doing yoga "correctly."

What should I wear to yoga class?

I recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. You don't need any special equipment—just yourself, water, and a mat. I want you to feel at ease and relaxed throughout your practice. I kindly ask that shoes are removed at the door.

What are the long-term benefits of practicing yoga regularly?

Practicing yoga regularly offers a wide range of long-term benefits, including improved flexibility, increased strength, and better posture. It enhances mental clarity, reduces anxiety, and helps build a deeper mind-body connection. Over time, yoga can improve your overall physical health, boost your emotional resilience, and promote a more balanced, centered lifestyle.

What styles of yoga do you offer?

I am a certified yoga teacher 200 RYT through Yoga Alliance. I have continued my yoga education with additional specializations in gentle yoga, yin yoga, chair yoga, prenatal yoga, mom & baby yoga, seniors, and ashtanga. I play sound bowls, and explore other sensorial offerings as a teacher. I love working with yoga beginners of all ages and abilities! I welcome students on the autism spectrum or with other special needs. Yoga is for every BODY.
